Equation Project
This year in algebra, one of our assigned projects was to give a mini-lesson on solving equations. I worked with Dusty Cocherell on this project and we had to give a lesson about simplifying equations. Another project, which is more recent, is that we were assigned to write, and solve original equations that would later be put on the final exam for the semester. This project taught us what it was like for a teacher to write a test. My strength in math class is that I have a large amount of perseverance; I have great drive to succeed. My weakness is comprehending the math process and have a hard time understanding certain problems.
Refelction on Semester Two
This last semester was interesting. We learned a lot and had a really good final project. In this project, our whole class put together and 'Encyclopedia of Algebra.' To do this, we were all assigned a certain topic to study and present in a formal way. My topic was Ration Fuctions. We were paired with two other people to write our entry. We included how to do a problem, what you need to know to begin solving it, and what real-world careers use our topic and how.
